There is a lot we could share about the charity, why it was started, what was done before and since, and what we are committed to.
However the best place to start is to share that Freedom International NOW was set up for You, and in turn for US.
What do we mean by that?
The charity was setup to help everyone who is in need. We believe that unless all of us are “ok”, then none of us really can be.
We also believe that as we help each person, they in turn can help others. This is a macro system holistic and strategic thinking that we think is necessary for us to thrive in the short term and the long.
We believe in humanity, and the right for each person to be FREE.
What have we done so far?
We’ve helped other movements, charities and projects get started and up and running in the UK and Globally.
We’ve provided mentoring, support services including counselling and coaching, and far more besides to help people that needed a hand up.
We’ve provided financial grants and support in kind to people who needed an emergency hand out to get them through.
Why was the charity founded and by who?
The charity was setup to solve a problem and at the request of multiple groups and people over the years.
We believe in humanity, and the right for each person to be FREE.
The original idea for the charity came from Simon (SimonHedley.com), and you can learn more about the why that drove this choice here.
This was on the back of a lifetime focussed on helping others, that came from his own life experience and especially his mother Dr Hedley.
