Freedom International Now™ is a Registered Charity (#1157050) as of 14 May, 2014 with full registration details available on the UK Charity Commission’s website.
The charity was founded by Simon Hedley FCA with support from Dr K. R. Hedley on the back of over twenty years experience in philanthropic works and many hundreds of man-years of work and research across all advisers, supporters, and ambassadors.

Our vision is to be operating optimally in all countries globally within ten years and in those countries to have directly impacted and worked with over one million people on a sustainable and strategic basis producing measurable results in the three primary areas of education, health and poverty.

As a charitable organisation our intent, focus and commitment is to help all people – both those that are able to help themselves with optimal support and those who are not able to yet (be it due to physical or metaphysical causes) – and we especially aim to produce an impact in the areas of education, health, and wealth.
We believe these aspects of individual and collective life are very connected are crucial for people being truly interdependent and free to reach their full potential. We are committed to making the difference to everyone globally. We look forward to sharing our insights and initiatives with you over time. We hope you enjoy exploring how you can optimally participate, support, and leverage what we are making available.
We have invested more than three decades directly inquiring into what works and is optimal and are continuing our research today. Specifically we’ve investigated “How do you optimally make a difference locally and globally?”
Our continuing research leads us to believe that by empowering and inspiring the next generation of leaders, we can maximise the positive impact we can make. We also recognise the need for ground roots support for those looking for or needing a hand up as opposed to a hand out sometimes as one-offs and sometimes ongoingly. We also recognise that for the majority of the global population environment is stronger than will power.
Today we act as a conduit proving access to solutions and resources locally and globally. We provide free access to “online” and phone based support networks and training. We actively provide training, development, mentoring, coaching and inspiration to people. We provide greater awareness of potentially useful solutions, products, services and events to individuals, groups, entities, other charities and bodies. We influence and help “trim-tab” a large community of forward thinking entrepreneurs and business owners, helping them optimise their connections, integrity and positive impact.
Much of the work we do with individuals and entities has been and is private and confidential, and we choose generally never to receive public credit as we have found that it enables us greater freedom to make a positive impact. In recent times we are now able thanks to our partners and supporters to make available our own public initiatives and solution sets which will trust will be more public and popular over the coming years and decades, and in turn produce a massive global impact for good.

Freedom International NOW operates as a registered UK Charity and as such under all the UK regulations and guidelines. We do our best to keep up with, follow and influence best practice – especially in relation to integrity and transparency.
The Charity governance is supervised and managed by the Trustees, with the support of our active Strategic Advisory Groups, Ambassadors, Angels and Partners.
Trustees
Simon is known to those who know him well as “The Strategic Alchemist” as he helps good people achieve incredible things. He spent a decade in finance and banking having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and acting as a Structurer and Investment Manager for ABN Amro and RBS. He founded Psi Pi Group, The Simple Idea and The Joint Venture Company amongst other initiatives. His real passion has always been human potential and he has invested over two decades into researching what’s possible for human beings and humanity and investigating ways to optimise outcomes. He has consulted to and mentored entrepreneurs, businesses, and charities and supported their optimal outcomes through strategic planning and introductions. He is also an accomplished speaker and author.
Dr K R Hedley
Dr K. R. Hedley was clear from a young age that her calling was in health and medicine and helping people. She qualified and served a NHS G.P. for over 30 years. She was involved in G.P. Training for over 25 years and helped train directly over 30 new doctors during that time. She has helped support many philanthropic projects over her life.
